I fear you have mistaken which caption applies to which picture. The Robert Agnew/Sally Starr picture is the one beneath the caption. The caption at the top right refers to the central picture, and correctly identifies the pair as Grant Withers and Maxine Cantway. I have seen the same picture in a different film magazine of about the same date (c. 1930-1) with a caption naming the girl as Sugar Geise, but I’m pretty sure it is Maxine Cantway. No film title is given, but I guess this is just a generic piece of publicity horseplay, isn’t it?
