So here is the deal guys, as you probably all know by now Google has deleted my gmail email, my profile and any blog that was created under that profile. There is a silver lining though, when I set this blog up it was actually for a friend to make some money. Well, it wasn’t something that she gave much time to so I took it over and added myself as an author.
The silver lining is that this blog wasn’t created under the email account that was deleted, it was created under the other one therefore it wasn’t deleted like all the others were, how lucky was that? After much searching I was able to find the login details of that extra account and wouldn’t you know, it was still listed as an author of this blog. So through fortune and grace I was able to create a new profile and add it to this blog.
What does this all mean? Well, take a look at the state of the blog and you will see, lol. We have lost every archived post from April the first 2008 until today. The archive prior to 4/1/08 remains though. So, over the next few weeks I will delete every post that is no longer active and start to rebuild from here, so there will be a two and a half year break between posts 🙂
Hey, even though it is a pain in the ass, at least we didn’t lose the blog itself and at least some of the archive remains.
